In the beginning, there was nothing. And yet something still must come from nothingness. Populating itself from the most minute of vibrations, to the smallest of particles, a mass of these particles to formulate everything ever known and the universe entire. Then from the smoldering rivers, crusted mountains, and ashes of the land arose the great trek in the evolution of life. Life crawled from the oceans expanding in its forms to get to eventually get to the point we have arrived. All of this shows the most miniscule of vibrations have an effect to manipulate everything we can ever conceive. Through exploration and attunement can one seek a similar sense of creation from nothing. This creation of sensations that extend far beyond physical forms grasped many throughout time. Thus came the hive master. Weaving his way through a variety of artistic mediums in discovery of creative facets to solidify themselves into the world.
Though Drone shop is rooted as a small music studio space, it expands on the idea of a single dedicated medium. Drone shop seeks to explore a great many mediums of creativity powered by a great many of artists. Everything from Music, voice, photography, visual art, film, and literature. As unconventional or conventional as any particular piece may seem, Drone shop is a tool to help implement and produce works of art, weaving together a world of creative minds for a simple goal; to introduce creativity and artistry into the world through a variety of facets all while ever expanding my own basis of knowledge and creative nature.
“It really is all about the translation of some feeling or some idea to me, I love working with great crews that are locked into each other musically and as friends. It creates this atmosphere where brilliant ideas can spawn, yet translate themselves so seamlessly into a position where the inexplicable is easily grasped. The esoteric nature of artistry in any form always has captivated me, learning new things, trying new methods, and developing new ideas are some of the most rewarding things about working with musicians on any scale. In the studio I certainly see my role as an interpreter, and some medium to which these musical designs and feelings can be imprinted. That’s probably my favourite thing about making music.” -Jake Ronczyk
